Wright Tycoon is hardcore indie aviation tycoon about designing aircraft and engines with almost complete freedom. Start in 1946 and build your own aviation company by creating everything from piston engines to jet aircraft.

Features

  • Design aircraft and engines from scratch
  • Full sandbox engineering – limited only by physics
  • Historical aviation era starting in 1946
  • Military and civilian aircraft development
  • Procedural contracts and company management
  • Deep simulation aimed at engineering and tycoon fans

Right now this project is a solo-developer prototype and honestly looks more like a playable spreadsheet than a finished game. If that doesn’t scare you, you might be exactly the player I’m looking for.

The long-term vision is to expand the simulation across the entire history of aviation (eventually starting in 1910) with deeper technology systems, historical events, weapons systems, and competing aircraft companies.

Inspired by Automation, Arms Trade Tycoon: Tanks, and SimplePlanes. The game is free, with an optional donation. If people support the project, I’ll invest in proper modular art and expand the simulation further.
